Bridge Recap -01

Take off bridge, saw off cap (top part), drill out the dirt from bridge pin holes, then plug holes with dowels same size as the drill bit used.

The original bridge cap was made by multiple pieces of hard maple glued together via scarf joint, the shop owner prefers this type of joint, also. Select a good piece or pieces of maple, mill to proper thickness, plan the lay out of bridge cap, then make scarf joint by router. 

The three pieces of maple are glued together. Ready to be milled when glue dries.
