This piano has hammers bobbling on the strings. The front key bushings and balance bushings are tight causing keys not able to return or bounce back up. 

Jude, the shop owner, uses several species of softwood for ribs. One piano usually has two kinds depends on the area, load, and more. After his calculation of ribs on each piano, we start the milling process. Each time of milling is a new practice. And each time is nerve racking to make it right, or almost right.

It has been eight months since I started learning German. The initial idea was to be able to go to piano factories in Germany someday to learn this craft in depth and in the traditional ways. This has not been changed.
