Family Trip 全家出动游江南

自我出生以来，爸爸和兄弟们从没有一起旅游过。叔叔伯伯们为国家，也为自己的小家在祖国的各个角落忙奉献，忙事业，今年在西安，明年在深圳，后年又跑到武汉。每年也就中秋和春节在爷爷奶奶家聚餐，聊家常。这些年，大家陆陆续续退休了，儿女也自立了，不用拼老命做事情了，于是哥儿四个规划了下江南，在上海附近旅游的十天行程。四十年过去，终于能一起享乐一番。

Dad and his brothers have never traveled together as far as I could remember. It has been 40 years at least. Well, they have families to feed and careers to fight along in order to earn enough cash. All four of them traveled everywhere in China. I remember never being able to see dad in my childhood only to see his pictures in the cities, on the lakes, in the factories, in front of mountains, etc. One of my uncles had to travel back and forth from east to the west and to the south to check on his restaurants. Now that they are all retired, the four of them planned a trip together. Finally, a family trip together to areas around Shanghai.

江南美，美景美人美食。从早饭到夜宵，顿顿精心安排，每天少不了黄鳝，少不了狮子头，十天内必须至少吃一次松鼠桂鱼。每一处著名的景色，一定仔细游览，体会千百年前古人游江南，吟诗作对时澎湃又或细腻的情怀。这之间，我问爸爸：“您玩得开心尽兴吗？”他出乎意料地答：“我对玩儿没兴趣，主要是陪着这一家人。” 可不是么，玩儿完这回，下一次不知道是多少年后，或者还会不会再集体出游。珍惜吧。
In Shanghai and surrounding areas, the food is usually very delicately prepared, the flavor sharp and the plating heartwarming. The gardens are well organized which brightens your heart and soothes your mind. The brothers and their families had a blast slowly wandering through ancient gardens, talking to the spirits of poets from hundreds of years ago, and tasting carefully prepared dishes. Out of curiosity, I asked dad if he was enjoying the tour. He said the tour was ok. The most important part was being with the family. I would agree with him. Who knows when the family would gather again for trips like this, if ever again. It's better to cherish each moment being in a whole family and being with each other.

四兄弟和全家福。也许全家一家人这么大规模出动的旅行不会再有，就让我们记住这十天的美好，记住家人脸上的微笑，珍惜彼此，用爱链接每个家庭成员的心灵。感谢爷爷奶奶在天之灵保佑家人旅程平安祥和。
The four brothers and the whole family in Shanghai. Honestly I'm not positive that the family trip will ever happen again. Remember. Just remember these 10 days. Remember the smile on their faces. Remember to keep loving each other. Thanks to grandpa and grandma protecting the family through the entire trip, from wherever you are.
